Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et une installation pour alimenter en butane un moteur à explosion. L'installation comporte un réservoir 1 de butane, une pompe 5, une électrovanne 6, un détendeur 8, un échangeur-vaporiseur 7 dans lequel l'apport de chaleur est réalisé par un branchement sur le circuit de refroidissement du moteur, un autre éhangeur-vaporiseur 9 équipé d'une résistance électrique 21 raccordée au circuit d'alimentation en courant de l'installation et un détendeur 10 raccordé au carburateur 2. L'invention s'applique notamment aux véhicules automobiles.
