Abstract
An L shaped lever (C) is mounted on a ball bearing pivot (g) and is connected to a second lever by a link (b), and by ball bearing pivots (I) (h). The lever (d) is mounted on a ball bearing (F) and a force is applied at the opposite end. It is claimed that with this linkage the force applied at (d) produces a force four times as great at the point (e) at the end of the L shaped lever (c). It is also claimed that the distance moved by the point (e) is equal to the distance moved by the point (d). With a suitable linkage between points (d) and (e) the device can be turned into a perpetual motion machine.
