Abstract

Generator of bubbles in a liq. medium comprises a component connected to a source of gas having a face emitting the gas through a large number of small perforations and a device feeding a liq. stream sweeping the zone of emission of the gas at high speed, >=1 m/s. Bubble generator is used in the field of chemical engineering and in the treatment of waste waters. Appts. ensures better distribution and better diffusion of the bubble in the body of the liq. in which it is immersed than existing bubble generators, and uses little energy.
