Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil de mesure de l'absorption d'oxygène et du quotient respiratoire d'un patient. Cet appareil comporte un circuit à grande résistance relié aux deux extrémités d'un pneumotachographe à diaphragme. Deux petites chambres sont montées dans ce circuit, à proximité de ces extrémités. La résistance de ce circuit est choisie de manière à être constante afin que l'écoulement des gaz se produisant dans ce circuit soit proportionnel à celui des gaz passant dans le pneumotachographe. Ainsi, en échantillonnant et analysant une petite partie des gaz contenus dans les deux chambres et en mesurant la quantité des gaz passant dans le pneumotachographe, on peut calculer l'absorption d'oxygène exacte. Domaine d'application : mesure de l'absorption d'oxygène et du quotient respiratoire d'un patient.
