Abstract
Pile lithium-iode à faible encombrement et à haute densité d'énergie. Elle comprend un boîtier conducteur 10 contenant deux anodes en lithium 22 enserrant un conducteur 28, 30 qui ressort du boîtier, et une matière cathodique iodée 86 en contact tant avec les anodes qu'avec le boîtier, qui agit en collecteur de courant cathodique. Les anodes en lithium présentent des ondulations qui augmentent leur aire active et améliorent la liaison adhérente avec le conducteur 28, 30; leurs faces actives sont revêtues d'un donneur organique. Le conducteur 28, 30 est entouré par un double isolateur intérieur au boîtier et par une virole sertie à une extrémité sur ce double isolateur et dont l'autre extrémité ressort du boîtier. Application, notamment à un stimulateur cardiaque.
