Abstract

L'invention concerne un transformateur variable comprenant un enroulement dont certains segments de spires sont découverts. De la matière isolante remplit les intervalles entre des segments découverts adjacents de l'enroulement. Un chariot mobile 68 permet de déplacer deux balais 81 et 84 simultanément sur deux voies de déplacement respectives de telle sorte qu'à tout moment au moins l'un des balais se trouve en contact avec un segment découvert de l'enroulement Un circuit relie les balais entre eux et permet d'éviter le passage d'un courant de court-circuit à travers les balais. Application : transformateurs de forte puissance.
