Abstract

Sharing of costs of common heating system for occupants of building is determined by measuring heat dissipated by each use. Quantity of heat dissipated is indicated numerically. A temperature sensitive probe senses temperature of each heated body and is connected to adjustable series and parallel resistors. The probe and a capacitor determine oscillator frequency whose output pulses are counted. The counter outputs are gated and applied to a bistable. Pulses are compared with fixed frequency oscillator and counter providing time base. The number of pulses in a given time is corrected prior to display.
