Abstract

The indicator is esp. in the form of a taximeter which comprises a counter which is clocked by time pulses applied to it and which is reset by distance pulses applied to it. When it reaches a predetermined count, the counter is arranged to afford an output each time it is reset. A unit provided operable on the distance pulse immediately following the counter having assumed the predetermined count for producing an output in dependence upon the residual count of the counter on the application of the distance pulse for affording a correction pulse.
