PURPOSE:To obtain a miniature, lightweight and highly-efficient laser generator which can extract several pulse-repetitive frequencies corresponding to a data rate to be used with simple constitution. CONSTITUTION:This generator 1 is equipped with pulse generator 1 generating a pulse signals and counter circuit 2 which counts a fixed number of pulses supplied from generator 1 and then outputs a signal equivalent to the fixed number of counted pulses. In addition, trigger circuit 4 is provided which receives the output signal of circuit 2 via waveform-shaping circuit 3 and outputs a high-tension trigger signal equivalent to the output signal from circuit 2 to trigger laser generator 5. Circuit 2 of this constitution is provided with code setting circuit 21 and counter 22; a decimal numeral is set to code setting circuit 21, and a BCD code is set to counter 22, so that a pulse-repetitive frequency will be generated which corresponds to a data rate for the purpose.
