Abstract

Garniture d'étanchéité pour un élément tournant autour d'un axe et passant à travers une paroi d'un carter, laquelle garniture comporte un premier manchon raccordé à la paroi, un arbre de l'élément tournant, lequel arbre s'étend concentriquement dans le premier manchon, et un deuxième manchon dont l'extrémité supérieure est solidarisée de l'arbre, ce deuxième manchon étant concentriquement logé dans le premier manchon raccordé à la paroi, le manchon solidaire de l'arbre et le manchon raccordé à la paroi ayant des dimensions telles que le jeu existant entre eux est petit Le manchon solidaire de l'arbre y est fixé par l'intermédiaire d'un élément d'étanchéité annulaire en caoutchouc ou en une matière similaire.
