Abstract

a. Procédé pour la carburation thermique du mélange de ralenti pour les moteurs à essence et carburateur de ralenti thermique pour sa réalisation. b. A l'aide d'un système de carburateurs comportant un carburateur principal 1 et un carburateur de ralenti thermique 3, le mélange air-carburant de ralenti est envoyé dans un préchauffeur 10 disposé dans le collecteur d'échappement du moteur 9. Chauffé et au moins en partie transformé en gaz, il est aspiré tel quel du collecteur d'admission 8 dans le ou les cylindre(s) du moteur pour le fonctionnement au ralenti. Pour le fonctionnement à charge partielle, il est d'abord mélangé avec du mélange froid provenant du carburateur principal 1. A pleine charge, la fraction du mélange de ralenti chaud dans le total aspiré par le moteur devient insignifiant Le dosage précis est obtenu automatiquement par deux valves 7, 13. c. Le procédé assure la mise à profit optimale de l'énergie disponible dans le carburant. Il résuit la consommation de carburant et la pollution de l'air environnant par les substances nocives contenues dans les gaz d'échappement.
