Abstract

The saucepan has a rectangular cross-section with rounded corners, and a removable handle to economise on storage space. The sides diverge slightly from the vertical so that several identical saucepans can be stacked. The corners act as pouring spouts, and also incorporate grips (3) for a handles locking device to fit on. The lid has a rounded rim and a recessed handle so that several full saucepans with lids can be stacked.
