Abstract

Le connecteur électrique selon l'invention comprend un ou plusieurs contacts électriques montés dans des passages correspondants d'un boîtier. Chaque contact comprend une partie d'accouplement et une partie opposée prévue pour être reliée à un conducteur isolé sans qu'il soit nécessaire de supprimer une partie de matériau isolant. A cet effet, le contact comprend, en sa partie opposée, plusieurs brins de faible diamètre, axialement alignés, et se terminant chacun par une extrémité biseautée, qui transpercent le matériau isolant du conducteur isolé et viennent en contact avec le conducteur central de ce dernier. De préférence, le ou les conducteurs isolés sont montés sur un second boîtier et le premier et le second boîtier comportent des moyens d'assemblage verrouillables. Application aux connecteurs électriques multicontacts.
