Abstract

The texture of a plastics material, partic. animal excrements, is stabilised by impregnating or coating the material in the plastic state with a fast acting and non-toxic hardener, thereby rendering the material inert, rigid and friable. Used for removing animal excrement on pavements, which besides being dirty and malodorous, can also cause accidents because of their slippery nature.
