Abstract

The handle set, with mounting rosettes, is for use on doors or french windows. The handles are mounted on opposite faces of the door, both being comdamnable from the interior, and being fixed by bolts (15) which are accessible from the inside only. The arrangement prevents dismantling of the assembly from the outside, the bolts passing through holes in the inner rosette (6) and the door to engage threaded ferrules (14) built onto the inner face of the outer rosette. The heads of the bolts (15a) are countersunk into the internal rosette, and the outer handle may include a cylinder type comdamnation mechanism.
