Abstract
L'invention concerne un appareil de formation d'une image d'un objet balayé par des faisceaux d'ondes ultra-sonores. Cet appareil comporte des transducteurs électro-acoustiques qui reçoivent des signaux retardés les uns par rapport aux autres de manière à former des faisceaux directifs. Les retards sont produits par des lignes à retard à prises multiples qui sont sélectionnées en fonction d'informations mémorisées dans une mémoire Une unité centrale de traitement mesure périodiquement les retards réels et modifie les informations mémorisées afin de compenser les variations qui peuvent se produire dans le temps. L'invention s'applique notamment à un appareil de diagnostic médical.
