Abstract

Dispositif aérien permanent, permettant de localiser en mer un radeau de sauvetage, ou tout autre engin à la dérive. Il comprend un cerf-volant 1 gonflé par une capsule d'hélium 2 de façon à maintenir l'ensemble au-dessus du radeau et ceci avec ou sans vent. Le cerf-volant est relié au radeau par un filin 3 réglable de façon à pouvoir être repéré de très loin même par forte houle. Ce système est muni de bandes réfléchissant la lumière et les échos radar. L'invention peut-être utilisée sur les radeaux de sauvetage, les petites embarcations susceptibles de se retrouver au large ou pour tout autre engin difficilement repérable. Il va de soi que le même système, en plus réduit, convient très bien à un homme tombé à la mer.
