Abstract

The clamping mechanism secures work to the table of a machine tool, having an anchoring member on the housing body engaging with the table, and a jaw hinging under the action of a control member outside the body. The jaw (2) is extended by an independent lever (3), equipped for coupling to the control member (4), both jaw and lever pivoting on the same axis (10). They can turn in relation to each other, but can be solidly coupled together by a removable component (26) to suit various relative angular positions, so that they pivot together under the action of the control member.
