Abstract

The blades are adjustable for inclination with their effective widths increasing towards the rear, being lead by a retractable rake (20) and followed by a roller (29). The width of the roller is greater than the trailing blade, each blade comprising an angle iron spanning between the feet of two nominally vertical legs (5). Transverse axle pins (9, 1'a) connect each leg to both the top (6) and bottom rails (1) of the side frames, blade inclination being adjusted by a crank-handle (13) operated screw jack (14, 15) effecting axial displacement of the top rails (6).
