Abstract

The system is designed to regulate the temp. of a body to a set value Tc. The body may be heated, cooled by a heating or refrigerating fluid respectively via a heat exchanger receiving the fluid. The fluid is provided from a source which has a regulating system for adjusting the temperature of the fluid. The temperature TF of the regulating fluid is measured at a point in front of the heat exchanger. The ambient temperature Ta of the medium surrounding the heat exchanger is also measured. The magnitude TFc given by the following relationship is calculated. TFc=(Tc-Ta)/K+Ta where K is a constant determined by a sample of the relation TF=f(O), O is the temperature of the body and f(O):(O-Ta)/K+Ta. Temperatures TFc and TF are compared. The regulating system is controlled so that the quantity TFc-TF is maintained at a practically zero value.
