Abstract

The contact breaker has a built in RF suppressor resistance. The electrodes making contact with the centre and spark plug fixed electrodes (7, 8) can also be changed without removal of screws etc. The contact breaker consists of a moulding (3) having a rectangular recess in its upper surface. The electrodes and resistor (9) are carried on a further moulding (10) which fits in the recess. The folded strip electrodes are located in slots in the moulding, the resistor fitting underneath and between the electrodes.
