Abstract

A roasting chamber is removably mounted in a support frame to rotate about a central axis. The frame has a base intended to rest on a fire, gas ring or other source of flame to heat the chamber. The chamber is rotated by a drive shaft turned by an electric power unit which can use battery or mains supply. The distance between the chamber and the flame is pref. adjustable by raising or lowering the trunnion bearings in the frame. The chamber pref. has wall perforations to exhaust vapours from roasting prod. The chamber pref. comprises two hemispheres hinged at their dias. and held in the closed position by a clip. A lifting handle is a useful addn.
