Abstract

Printed circuit board connector for the forward edge as opposed to the usual rear edge connection area. The connector prevents inverse sense connection and has a low overall geometry. The connection consists of a block of female electrodes, with a sliding cover slip, attached to the printed circuit board slides. The male electrodes consist of, as many as may be required, backward facing rectangular section spikes having two short stepped legs (10, 11) mating with securing holes in the printed circuit board. Connection is made at both rear and forward connectors by one sliding movement.
