Abstract

The aerial cable anchor fitting is of the type of having a base (2) in the form of a plate designed to be fixed against a wall or any other type of vertical surface. The anchor fitting has an arm (3) which extends perpendicularly from the base (2). At the end of the arm (3) is an eyelet (4) (4)med by a closed loop of metallic cable (5). The flexibility of the closed loop (S) permits variation between the respective angular positions of the anchor fitting and the eyelet (4). This relative angular movement eliminates undesirable mechanical constraints which can cause premature mecahincal wear and or fatigue at the fitting.
