Abstract

The fence with openings is particularly for use as screen walling and comprises a number of blocks (4a, 4b) stacked one on top of the other so as to form openings between them. Each block is of a shape enclosed in a rectangle, and has one or more openings (8, 9) extending through it between opposite sides. The openings in each row of blocks are in line, to allow a reinforcing bar (1, 10) to be passed through them. The length of each block can be roughly twice its dimension (d) in the vertical plane of the wall, and its longer sides can incorporate oblique surfaces.
