Abstract

Walls or partitions are thermally insulated by casting the insulating layer in situ. A rectangular frame (1) with one side detachable carries an inflatable sealing tube (2) which is pressed against the surface to be insulated. A cover plate (8) is then fixed to the frame (1) and the assembly is supported by rods (15) from an overhead rail (13). The insulating material is poured through a hole in the frame (11) and after solidification of the insulation, the assembly is removed to cast an adjacent panela. When casting the adjacent panel, the lower side (7) of the frame is removed in order to produce a continuous surface.
