Abstract

The package comprises a box made up from a sheet blank and an internal reinforcing lining which is also made up from a blank. The lining (1) has sides (3, 4, 5, 6), a top (7) and a bottom (8). The sides are of trapezoidal shape with short edges (3', 4', 5', 6') slightly shorter than the internal dimensions of the base to facilitate insertion. The object to be packed is a close fit in the lining and so distorts the lower part when entered.
