Abstract

The handle may include a projecting portion adjacent to the body of the bat or racquet. The projecting portion may have a beak-like shape, and is joined to the body of the handle by a smooth concave transition region. There may be an intermediate rectilinear portion forming an angle of between -20 deg. and +45 deg. with the longitudinal axis of the handle.
