Abstract

The edging strip (1) which can be used as shuttering when laying concrete is made of extruded plastics. The strip has an upper part in the form of a hollow triangle (2) with a flat portion projecting from the base so that the whole section is in the shape of an arrow head. The flat portion has a row of holes (3) which enable it to be firmly embedded in the concrete. The strip can be used as an expansion joint between adjacent blocks of concrete, or as an edging strip around manholes in concrete surfaces.
