Abstract

Registre à propagation de domaines magnétiques dans une couche mince ferromagnétique où l'aimantation reste dans le plan de la couche. Ce registre se caractérise par le fait qu'il comprend un seul conducteur en forme de grecque pour assurer la propagation unilatérale des domaines. Les champs magnétostatiques nécessaires sont obtenus par des élargissements localisés du canal de progression des domaines. L'invention se prête particulièrement bien à la réalisation de mémoires, de conception simplifiée, tout en permettant une forte densité de stockage d'informations.
