Abstract

Compsn. for flocculating impurities in wet-process phosphoric acid comprising 1-100%, of an adsorbent argile, 1-90% of an oxidising agent, a film-forming anti-corrision agent, an antioxidant to protect natural and synthetic rubbers, a polyacrylamide-type flocculant and an additional adsorbent, e.g. charcoal. Pref. 75-90% keiselguhr, 10-25% ammonium nitrate, 0.1-3% corrosion inhibitor, 0.01-3% rubber anti-oxidant and 0.001-10% polyacrylamide flocculant.
