Abstract

A refrigerator door has its inner surface made of deep drawn plastics with relatively thin walls. The ends of the shelves (14) have resilient projections (18) which pass through holes (19) in the plastics inner surface of the door. A plastics moulding is fitted inside the door and receives the claws of the projections (18). This moulding spreads the load over a relatively large area of the door surface and reduces the stress.
