Abstract

The series of metal profiles is used for interlocking to make up any desired window or door frame, esp. for one or two-winged turning units. For fixed and movable frames, the profiles comprise identical basic profiles with a flat support (1) fitted with flat wings (2, 5) on opposite edges. These have inward-facing protrusions (3, 6), combining with the support to house anchoring and/or operating components. Open wing edges have a housing (7) for locking similar or complementary profiles, or two C-shaped edges (4) for locking similar profiles for seal attachment.
