Abstract

The car washing installation has a frame structure which can move over the washing area from one end of the car to the other. There are liquid jets, and two vertical and horizontal rotary brushes. The brushes are suspended on a jointed parallelogram linkager. The fixed side of the parallelogram opposite the brush carrier being formed by part of the support structure. Each brush suspension is flexibly mounted to keep the brush vertical by a tension spring.
