Abstract
The annular gap heat transfer system has two or more concentrically arranged thin wall tubes. The heat exchanging liquid, viscous liquids and pasty fluids flow through the gaps between the tubes. Efficiency of heat transfer is associated with the reduced specific material consumption per thermal performance unit. The tubes used have circumferential or helical corrugations. The tubes with corrugations are shifted relative to each other and can be combined with smooth wall tubes. The tap (2) between the tubes can be greater than the depth (3) of corrugations. The helical tubes can be arranged so that their helices have different opposite directions.
