Abstract

The motor vehicle air intake grille is particularly for an air-cooled engine, and consists of a panel of oblong parallel components with cross-struts between them forming intake slots. Each oblong component (7, 7a) has a tongue (8) fixed in relation to the panel, and a movable tongue (9) hinging on the fixed one along one of its lengthwise edges. An adjusting member (13) is coupled to all the movable tongues, setting them into two or more predetermined positions. In one of the latter they are in the planes of their respective fixed tongues and in another inclined to them, so as to shut the intake slots off partly at least.
