Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et une installation de valorisation de laitier métallurgique L'installation est caractérisée en ce qu'elle se compose essentiellement d'une goulotte inclinée 10 servant à canaliser le laitier fondu, d'au moins une plaque déflectrice 20 servant à étaler le courant de laitier, d'un godet refroidi tournant rapidement et muni de buses d'introduction d'un agent liquide et/ou gazeux et d'un dispositif continu de séparation de la laine W et des particules solides G. Application à la fabrication de laine métallurgique.
