Abstract

Frein à plaques de pression séparables hydrauliquement. Le frein comporte des disques de friction rotatifs destinés à venir en contact avec des surfaces radiales opposées d'un carter fixe sous l'action d'un mécanisme écarteur situé entre les disques, et deux plaques de pression distinctes et séparables axialement. Le mécanisme écarteur comporte un ensemble composé d'un cylindre et d'un piston, monté de manière à déplacer les plaques de pression en les écartant lorsque le cylindre est mis sous pression. Applications aux freins à disques d'écartement pour tracteurs et véhicules analogues.
