Abstract

Transporteur à vis. Dans une vis d'Archimède le filet est constitué par un profilé en U (parois latérales 4, 5 et voile 6) convenablement recourbé dont les arêtes sont soudées à l'arbre 2 en réalisant ainsi une sorte de tube qui retient les matières à transporter (notamment les liquides) sans qu'il soit besoin d'une gouttière fixe et en évitant les fuites entre une telle gouttière et les spires. Application à l'élévation de l'eau ou des liquides aqueux.
