Abstract

The buckle for tightening the straps of, particularly, rucksacks, consists of a main piece (1) in which is hinged a lever (2) which is subjected to pressure of a spring (3). The lower part (7) of the lever exerts pressure on the piece of the strap inside the main part of the buckle, and is shaped like a spatula. The lower end of the lever is moved down from the hinge axis (4). The pull exerted on the strap on the other side of the buckle increases the pressure exerted by the spring and increases the grip of the strap between the bottom of the buckle and the lever.
