Système par le freinage d'un véhicule comportant un dispositif d'antipatinage recevant des informations de vitesse d'un détecteur couplé à une roue non freinée. Selon l'invention, ce système comporte un dispositif de correction comprenant d'une part, des premiers moyens susceptibles de transmettre au dispositif d'antipatinage lesdites informations de vitesse à chaque fois que les variations de ces informations au temps sont inférieures à un seuil de décélération représentatif de l'hydroplanage de ladite roue non freinée et, d'autre part, des seconds moyens susceptibles, à chaque fois que lesdites variations des informations de vitesse sont supérieures audit seuil de transmettre audit dispositif antipatinage, une information de vitesse décroissante estimée.
