Abstract

The crusher rotor is fitted with a number of rows of hammers. Each hammer is hinged onto a pin supported by a disc. The hammers are equally spaced around the rotor and are fitted with a wedge shaped head. The base of each hammer is joined to the head by a concave surface allowing locking on consecutive hammers on opposite rotors. Each of the hammers in joined to its axis pin by three arms equally spaced along the length of the hammer.
