Abstract

Ce procédé consiste à remplir une enceinte de réaction avec un melange initial, à allumer ce mélange et à le mettre en rotation autour de l'axe longitudinal de la chambre de réaction, dans laquelle, sous l'action de la force centrifuge, la matière en fusion formée par le mélange initial se sépare en une couche extérieure et une couche intérieure grâce à la différence de poids spécifique des produits de réaction. La rotation est continuée jusqu'à la solidification des couches. Quand le mélange initial est enflammé, l'accélération centrifuge est comprise entre 300 g et 1 000 g environ, puis elle est progressivement diminuée jusqu'à une valeur comprise entre 50 g et 100 g environ, pendant un temps suffisant pour la combustion du mélange initial et la séparation subséquente de la matière en fusion en deux couches. L'accélération est ensuite maintenue constante jusqu'au moment de la solidification des couches.
