Abstract

Two spaced grip sections are supported on a rigid yoke and can be moved to and from each other by an adjusting device to allow a grip on the animal. The grip parts (2, 3) are arranged at the ends of a two-armed lever (7, 8) whose supports (9, 10) are on the yoke (1) and whose other ends are hinged with the adjusting device (5) via hinge points (11, 12) which are spaced from each other. The adjusting device is so constructed that the two hinge points (11, 12) can be moved to and from each other to allow movements of the gripping parts to and from each other by swivelling the lever (7, 8) about the bearings (9, 10).
