Abstract

Pharmaceutical compsn. contg. mucopolysaccharides, acetazolamide and aescin is new. Acetazolamide inhibits carbonic anhydrase and regulates water metabolism. Aescin protects capillaries and prevents oedema. The enzymes hydrolyse polysaccharides and breakdown cellulo-fatty tissue. Inclusion of hyaluronidase aids penetration into subcutaneous tissue. Compsn. is used for treating cellulitis and excess deposition of fat.
