Abstract

The electrical generator based on the powering of a series of electromagnets sequentially, inducing a linear motion which is converted into circular motion. This drives an alternator or dynamo, the basic mechanism working in vacuum to overcome air drag losses. Each electro magnet (7) has a single winding on a soft iron core (2) cone shaped at one end (3). The core engages with a shaped armature (4), a brass surface layer (6) preventing direct contact. The motion of the core is guided within the armature by a shaft (5) extending from the cone apex through the armature.
