Abstract

Dispositif d'évacuation de gaz d'échappement pour un moteur à combustion interne qui comprend un cylindre nettoyant relié à un tuyau d'échappement du moteur pour introduire un gaz d'échappement dans ledit cylindre et au moins une plaque d'étranglement possédant un certain nombre de trous d'étranglement de petit diamètre, la traversant, ladite plaque d'étranglement étant disposée dans ledit cylindre nettoyant de façon à couper perpendiculairement les courants gazeux dans le cylindre nettoyant, où un phénomène d'expansion est produit par décharge vers l'arrière du gaz d'échappement à travers lesdits trous d'étranglement. Les diamètres des trous d'étranglement sont compris entre 1,8 et 5,5 mm,le rapport de la section transversale totale des trous d'étranglement à la surface de section du tuyau d'échappement est compris entre 0,8 et 5,5 et l'épaisseur de la plaque d'étranglement est de 0,8 à 6 mm.An exhaust gas discharge device for an internal combustion engine which comprises a cleaning cylinder connected to an exhaust pipe of the engine for introducing an exhaust gas into said cylinder and at least one throttle plate having a certain number of small diameter throttle holes passing therethrough, said throttle plate being disposed in said cleaning cylinder so as to perpendicularly cut off the gas streams in the cleaning cylinder, where an expansion phenomenon is produced by discharge towards the exhaust gas through said throttle holes. The diameters of the throttle holes are from 1.8 to 5.5 mm, the ratio of the total cross section of the throttle holes to the section area of the exhaust pipe is from 0.8 to 5, 5 and the thickness of the throttle plate is 0.8-6mm.
