Abstract

Un système de mélange de poudre et d'eau est installé à bord d'un avion et utilise pour le puisage d'eau pour produire automatiquement à bord un mélange de poudre et d'eau. Ce système est particulièrement conçu pour larguer un mélange d'eau et de poudre ignifuge d'un avion en vol et comprend une paire de réservoirs, des récipients à poudre en avant et en arrière des réservoirs, des buses de puisage d'eau se projetant sous l'avion, une paire de dispositifs d'injection de poudre et de mélange de poudre et d'eau reliés chacun à un réservoir, à une buse de puisage d'eau et un groupe de récipients, une valve de sélection d'un récipient à poudre intercalée entre chaque dispositif d'injection et de mélange et le groupe correspondant de récipients à poudre, et un contrôle relié à chaque valve de sélection est arrangé pour vider un récipient à l'avant des réservoirs en même temps qu'un récipient à l'arrière des réservoirs, à chaque passe de puisage d'eau par l'avion.
