Composition herbicide sous forme d'un concentrat émulsifiable présentant une densité qui n'est pas supérieure à 0,97 et un coefficient d'étalement initial positif, caractérisée en ce qu'elle est constituée par : a. de 5 à 50 % en poids de trifluralin (2,6-dinitro-N,N-dipropyl-4-trifluorométhylaniline) et de 2,4-D (acide (2,4-dichlorophénoxy)acitique), ou un ester de celui-ci, le rapport ponderal du trifluralin au 2,4-D étant compris entre 2 : 1 et 1 : 2; b. de 1 à 4% en poids d'un mélange ou d'une composition constituée d'agent tensio-actifs non ionique et anionique; et c. de 94 à 46 % en poids d'un solvant organique non miscible à l'eau présentant une densité dans une plage comprise entre 0,77 et 0,95.
