Abstract
Dispositif électrique d'entraînement d'appareils à grande vitesse de rotation à l'aide d'un champ tournant produit par des enroulements agissant à travers un entrefer sur un rotor non bobiné, notamment à hystérésis. Chaque phase de l'enroulement du moteur est agencée, avec l'adjonction d'une capacité, en un circuit oscillant série accordé à la fréquence de régime voulue, tandis qu'une unité de commande applique un tension continue au circuit oscillant ou le court-circuite, alternativement, avec une fréquence de commutation correspondant à celle de régime. L'enroulement du moteur, dans le cas monophasé, est représenté, en schéma équivalent, par son inductance L et sa resistance effective W. Un condensateur C est branché en série avec ces deux éléments et sa capacité est déterminée pour former avec L et R un circuit oscillant série pour la fréquence de régime désirée. Une unité de commande E composée de 2 commutateurs S1, S2 est adjointe. L'un est toujours ouvert quand l'autre est fermé, ceci à la fréquence de commutation voulue. Il s'établit un courant de phase d'amplitude maximale et constante. A control unit E made up of 2 switches S1, S2 is added. One is always open when the other is closed, at the desired switching frequency. A phase current of maximum and constant amplitude is established. Application to gas ultracentrifuges for the separation of mixtures of isotopes.
